Welcome to Barefoot Yoga Studio!

Barefoot Yoga Studio is a true first for the village of Lucan. Noticing that the area was lacking a studio that brought all aspects of yoga and fitness together under one roof, this custom built studio was developed and is the only studio in the area that offers a full range of yoga and fitness classes, from beginner to expert levels.

There’s a real sense of community at the studio - a fact evident from the feeling of encouragement and ease you feel from the first class. Pared back and personable, all pretention is left at the door to provide classes that encourage, rather than intimidate. A very warm, welcoming environment for all!

Some of the classes offered at Barefoot Yoga Studio are Hot Yoga, Beginners Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Fitness classes and Mum & Baby classes making Barefoot Yoga Studio a pioneer facility in the industry.

All our instructors are fully qualified and experienced and genuinely care for your well-being. We keep our class numbers small enough to know each individual and cater to everyone's needs. Our studios are warm and friendly with a community atmosphere.

YIN YOGA TOMORROW @ 4PM Yin Yoga is an alternative approach to regular yoga asanas which focuses on stretching the connective tissue of the body by gently relaxing and letting go while holding postures for a longer period of time. Yin Yoga is a helpful tool to condition one’s body to sit longer and more comfortably in meditation. The two main principles that differentiate yin practice from a more yang approach to yoga are holding the poses for several minutes and stretching the connective tissue around the joint. The overlying muscles must be relaxed and free from tension so that one can soften into the pose and allow time for the connective tissue to be stretched. In this Yin yoga class, we will explore the different yin poses in order to encourage and improve our seated practice while gently stimulate the flow of qi or prana through the connective tissue. http://barefootyogastudio.ie/yoga-classes/yoga/yin-yoga.html

HOT YOGA FLOW TOMORROW @ 12.15PM This class is carefully curated to further warm the muscles, allowing you to safely reach new levels of personal flexibility. Classes include deep stretching, balances, deep core strengthening, floor work and guided relaxation to release layers of tension and tightness. With a focus on correct postural alignment, each class brings creative sequencing and a dynamic flow of movements that are personalised to offer variations for each individual's body and limits.
